Critical Effect prides itself for being the leading place in Northwest Indiana for miniatures gaming. We host 2 major year long leagues for both Privateer Press's Warmachine/Hordes and Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k, soon Warhammer Fantasy! We have gamers that come in every weekend for games of Battletech, Hordes, Warmachine and any thing else that uses a tape measure, dice and poisonous lead figures!

If you are looking for World of Warcraft TCG gaming, you can always find someone in the shop to play. We host a league of 12 active players always itching to throw down. Magic:TCG is commonly played and players are plentiful.

Critical Effect SHINES when it comes to board games. If you are looking to learn a particular game, we can teach you. If you need to help figuring out how certain mechanics of gameplay, we can help you. Critical Effect gamers love board games, from Settlers of Cataan to Treehouse, Starcraft the Board Game to Carcassone you can usually find someone that will pick a game up with you.
