Keep on the Shadowfell, the first published product for D&D 4E will be available for sale on Wednesday the 21st but we already have one!!! And so it shall be, on Monday the 19th, Wednesday the 21st and Friday the 23rd @ 6:00 Eric Morgan will be running the first taste of D&D 4th Edition at Critical Effect. Come one come all and see what 4th Edition has to offer.

The town of Winterhaven stands watch over a ruined keep that was once a bastion of good in the realm. This keep overlooks the Shadow Rift, a dark scar in the world that was once a gateway to the Shadowfell but has been dormant for many years. Now, an evil cleric of Orcus, Demon Lord of the Undead, seeks to re-open the gate, and the only thing standing in his way is a small yet determined band of heroes.

We have seen what the future holds….  And it is LOTS OF BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!!  The new Warhammer 40K boxed set, Assault on Black Reach will be available for sale on Saturday, September 6th, 2008.  So….   Critical Effect will be hosting a Midnight Madness eventon Friday the 5th.  We will reopen the doors @ 11:00 p.m. and will stay open until 3:00 a.m.  Come in and join us for some serious mini’s gaming.  Wars will be waged, mini’s shall be assembled, Black Reach shall be sold.  At the stroke of Midnight, Assault on Black Reach will be available for sale.  This is a FREE event!  No purchace necessary.

Critical Effect will be continuing the fun on Saturday the 6th with the 1st Annual WAAAGH FEST!!!   Bring your 1500 point army and we will be playing all day.   This is also a FREE event.

Neither of these events are intended to be competitive, no prizes, no worries.   Just lots of fun and a few Ded Ard Orks!
